Safeguarding
The Safeguarding Commission is established to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, including athletes, staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders, involved with the EFC. It is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and practices that protect individuals from harm, abuse, and exploitation within the Confederation's programs and activities. Their work involves:
1. Provide Safeguarding Officers for major events
2. Plan educational events
3. Define case management procedures
4. Propose measures (including updates to Statutes and Rules) to improve safeguarding standards
5. Produce tools and resources
