Cadet Foil Results in Sofia, Bulgaria

The European Cadet Circuit in foil concluded in Sofia with a full programme of individual and team events for both men and women. The Bulgarian capital hosted a highly competitive stage of the circuit, attracting strong international participation and delivering clear reference points for the progression of the season.

In the U17 men’s individual foil competition, the podium was entirely claimed by athletes from the United States. Lucas Senic secured first place, followed by Kyle Chen in second position, while Sage Rasmussen and Jason Qian shared third place.

The U17 women’s individual event was won by France’s Melisande Bolore, who took gold ahead of Elizaveta Kopyltsova of Cyprus. Bronze medals were awarded to Katerina Nemeskalova of Czechia and Pauline Mazille of France.

Team events further underlined the depth of participation. In the U17 men’s team competition, the United States completed a full sweep of the podium. The gold medal was won by USA 1, represented by Jason Qian, Lucas Senic, Ziyu Wang and Alber Yixuan Wu. Silver went to USA 2 with Hanson Chen, Martin Nguyen, William Yi and Aaron Zhang, while bronze was claimed by USA 3, featuring Ethan Doell, Diego Fukuda, Dalton Sheng and Adrian Suarez.

In the U17 women’s team event, France secured first place with Melisande Bolore, Lilou Gaillardot, Eloise Goutenegre and Pauline Mazille. Türkiye finished second thanks to Elvin Gulisik, Ada Kufeciler and Elif Ada Yildiz, while Germany completed the podium with Florentine Grund, Ksenja Klimuk, Emma Klostermann and Johanna Spinzig.

Cadet Sabre Results in Praha, Czechia

Praha hosted the cadet sabre stage of the European Cadet Circuit, where speed, timing and tactical decision-making were decisive throughout the weekend.

In the cadet men’s individual sabre competition, Angelos Ntivis of Greece claimed the gold medal. Mattia Serino of Switzerland finished second, while Samuel Schiller of Germany and Giordano Vincenzi of Italy shared bronze.

The cadet women’s individual event saw Emma Teng of Canada take first place. Germany’s Luisa Paulsen earned silver, with bronze medals going to Karolina Mejlun of Poland and Timea Rus of Germany.

Team events provided further competitive depth. Switzerland won the cadet men’s team title, represented by Loic Ansermet, Alex Biggio, David Raphael Ferrand and Mattia Serino. Italy 3 finished second with Alessandro Fanelli, Niccolo Paolantonio, Ascanio Teti and Giordano Vincenzi, while Hungary 2 claimed bronze through Javier Garcia-Megyesi, Imre Koszta-Ajvasz, Akos Nagy and Bence Revesz.

In the cadet women’s team competition, Poland secured gold with Natalia Bienczak, Oliwia Dwornik, Karolina Mejlun and Amelia Ostrowska. Canada took silver with Riley Crooks, Sonia Li and Emma Teng, while Poland 3 completed the podium thanks to Rita Garbowska, Lena Przepiora, Michalina Wojcik and Zofia Wolska.

Cadet Épée Results in Krakow, Poland

The cadet épée competition in Krakow delivered a demanding test of distance control, patience and tactical discipline, with both individual and team events shaping an important stage of the circuit.

In the cadet men’s individual épée, David Dodin of the United States claimed victory, followed by Alan Lam, also from the United States. Bronze medals were shared by Adam Ginzburg of the United States and Sonnwin Huidi Franz of Germany.

The cadet women’s individual title went to Lotti Horvath of Hungary. Chloe Tolsma of the United States finished second, while Ekaterina Seregin of the United States and Serena Xu of Canada earned bronze medals.

In the men’s team competition, USA 1 took gold with Andy Zheng, Boden Lai, Benjamin Mao and Christopher Davoodian. Silver was secured by USA 3, represented by Adam Ginzburg, Alexander Mitev, Samuel Robinson and Dashan Xia, while USA 4 earned bronze with Zachary Choi, Tudor Hamza, Lawson Graves and James Boudreaux.

In the women’s team event, USA 1 claimed first place with Chloe Tolsma, Maya Kozlowski, Avni Shiv and Vivian Young. France finished second thanks to Faustine Gaspard, Charlotte Loue, Laura Verges and Appoline Mugnier, while USA 2 completed the podium with Luxi Guo, Liora Profis, Ekaterina Seregin and Alexandra Smuk.

U14 Circuit Results in Ub, Serbia

The European U14 Circuit continued in Ub, Serbia, focusing exclusively on individual épée events and providing a valuable developmental environment for the youngest athletes on the circuit.

In the U14 men’s individual épée competition, Andrei Stoica of Romania secured first place, ahead of Relja Rapic of Serbia. Bronze medals were awarded to Simo Hu of Finland and Vlad Taropa of Romania.

The U14 women’s individual event was won by Lizett Pluhar of Hungary. Danka Stanojevic of Serbia finished second, while Dijana Bajic of Serbia and Borisa Krasteva of Bulgaria shared third place.
