Day VII: Junior Teams Take the Spotlight
The seventh day of the European Cadets & Juniors Championships in Tbilisi was dedicated to junior team competition, where tactical cohesion and squad depth determined the podium. With 64 teams competing across three weapons, the penultimate day delivered high-level encounters and decisive medal shifts.
Junior Men’s Épée Team: France in Control
Twenty-nine teams entered Junior Men’s Épée, producing one of the most competitive team events of the Championship. France emerged victorious through Bindas Odinn, Rahamefy Aina, Mitrail Theo and Duchene Noam, combining discipline and composure to secure the European title.
Italy claimed silver with Cedrone Riccardo, Leporati Ettore, Iogna Prat Luca and Sena Cristiano, while Israel completed the podium with bronze thanks to Khaperskiy Fedor, Charmatski Eitan Efraim, Sarid Alon and Lachman Mordechai Milu.

Junior Women’s Foil Team: Hungary on Top
In women’s foil, 18 teams competed for continental honours. Hungary claimed gold through Papp Jazmin, Kollar Anna, Zhou Xinyao and Polonyi Petra, delivering a confident and consistent performance across the elimination rounds.
Israel secured silver with Koren Lihy Peer, Kuritzky Gili, Kagan Tyagunov May and Saban Shahar, while Russia earned bronze thanks to Chasovnikova Stefania, Zorina Irina, Levchuk Milana and Kudentscova Nelli.
Hungary’s victory adds further balance to an already diverse junior medal distribution.
Junior Women’s Sabre Team: Russian Precision
Seventeen teams took part in Junior Women’s Sabre, where Russia delivered a commanding performance to take gold. Mikhailova Aleksandra, Kunasheva Malena, Tallada Karina and Tretiakova Mariia combined experience and control to secure the European team title.
Poland earned silver through Wojcik Gabriela, Wasilewska Ewa, Siwek Amelia and Hofman Karolina, while France added another bronze medal with Wullus Carmen, Patrice Aurore, Robineaux Rita and Babando Mathilde.
Russia’s team success consolidates its presence among the leading junior nations in Tbilisi.
Medal Race Tightens Before Final Day
With team titles now added to the individual results, the junior medal standings remain highly competitive. France, Russia, Italy and Hungary are among the nations strengthening their positions, while Israel and Poland continue to demonstrate consistency across events.
